Adult Art Classes
Creativity is all about expressing of yourself.
These classes are for those who are interested in experimenting with different mediums, taking you out of your comfort zone and expanding your vision and yourself into trying new things.
I facilitate and motivate that we be inspired and influenced by one another, encouraging individual creativity to grow.
The Adult Art Class Term
Classes are R100 per class, I ask a R200 fee for a canvas and any other materials required for the term. A term is usually 10 weeks and runs with the normal school term.

Fridays 10am till 12.30pm
Adult Class projects
Each term we try and focus on a particular theme/style /artist or all 3 and play with a new medium or several, by no means do we ever get bored!
We work mostly in acrylic as our base and then venture into mixed media adding, fabrics, foil, resin, the possibilities are all there.
Some of the projects done in the past:
- Mixed media - Inspired by Klimt
- Aboriginal art - acrylic on canvas
- Touch drawing and developing a cubist colour poster type painting- craft paints
- Faces - Charcoal and pencil only - use of pencils and combination of tones
- Grafitti canvas - inspired by David White - black and white with colour grafitti over
- Collage - Inspired by one of the students trip to Italy and to collage a picture from her photos
- Resin - layers of colour and combination of resin mixed with painting
- Steampunk - we are experimenting with this fairly new style of art Jan 2017 - March 2017
